Los Angeles Dodgers Ryan Brasier Pitcher Tyler Glasnow St Louis Cardinals

Ryan Brasier to Return from IL

Glasnow to Start Saturday

The Los Angeles Dodgers will get some help on the pitching staff tomorrow albeit in the bullpen. Veteran reliever Ryan Brasier is set to return from the 60-day injured list.

Brasier has been out since June with a calf injury. He has made two rehab appearances for Triple-A Oklahoma City and allowed one run on two hits in two innings.

Glasnow to Miss Time

The Dodgers placed Tyler Glasnow on the injured list with elbow tendinitis.

Glasnow was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays at the trade deadline. He has a 9-6 record with a 3.49 ERA in 18 starts this season.

The Dodgers do not expect Glasnow to miss more than two or three starts.

"He's just got a little bit of tendinitis in his elbow," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "We're just going to give him a couple of weeks to rest it and get him back out there."

Glasnow will start for the Dodgers on Saturday against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Bullpen Depth

The Dodgers have a deep bullpen. In addition to Brasier, they also have Connor Brogdon, Phil Bickford, and Yency Almonte.

"We've got a lot of guys who can pitch in high-leverage situations," Roberts said. "We're confident that we can get the job done with the guys we have."
