Bayern Munich Dominates Eintracht Frankfurt in Bundesliga Clash

Eintracht Frankfurt Hammered 5-1 by Bayern Munich

Bavarian Giants Extend Unbeaten Run

FC Bayern Munich continued their impressive unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga with a resounding 5-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. The match, played at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, saw the reigning champions dominate from start to finish.

Bayern opened the scoring in just the third minute through Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker latched onto a through ball from Leon Goretzka and calmly slotted the ball past Kevin Trapp. The visitors doubled their lead on the half-hour mark when Kingsley Coman converted a penalty after Filip Kostic was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area.

Frankfurt pulled a goal back in the 37th minute through André Silva, but Bayern restored their two-goal advantage before halftime when Goretzka scored a stunning long-range effort. The second half followed a similar pattern, with Bayern dominating possession and creating chances.

Coman added his second of the game in the 65th minute, and Leroy Sané sealed the victory with a fine solo effort in the 80th minute. The result means Bayern have now gone unbeaten in their last 12 Bundesliga matches, winning 10 and drawing 2.

Frankfurt, meanwhile, have now lost three of their last four matches and are struggling to find their form under new coach Oliver Glasner. They remain in ninth place in the table, 13 points behind Bayern.
